The BC Bottle Depot Association (BCBDA) has partnered with the Salvation Army to promote the U-Can-Help program. This program encourages people to donate the deposits they have paid on used beverage containers (at the point of purchase) to the Salvation Army by bringing the used beverage containers back to a participating bottle depot in BC. The monies generated from the donations will help fund Salvation Army programs that assist the less fortunate members of our communities. Persons wishing to donate their used beverage container deposits to the U-Can Help program are asked to check BCBDA's member website www.mydepot.ca for the closest depot that is participating in the program. Your local depot may also accept containers for a variety of service groups. Persons requiring more information on the U-Can-Help program are asked to call Gary Allen who operates the Choices Recycling Centre beside Choices Market 3428 King George Hwy Surrey 604-541-3908.
